Even the game movies where generally shit, I quite liked Postal, Blood Rayne 1 and Dungeon Siege 1 (#2 waiting to be seen and have heard that it is not that bad either)

I loved Doom. The 10 minute FPS sequence is pure movie magic and the ultimate homage to the genre. I also thought the 1st Mortal Kombat was halfway enjoyable. And less we forget the original Tron? The 2nd one sucked but the 1st is timless fun.

Yeah but Doom was more Resident Evil in space than it was Doom, and at the cinema they hacked that FPS sequence to shreds.

MK was good though, shame they turned Shao Kahn into a a bitch with daddy issues in MK2. Actually the recent MK Legacy web series was also mostly good, It's even getting a second season with Cary Tagawa reprising his role as Shang Tsung. Unfortunately almost no actors from season 1 will be returning. Course, that's not quite Hollywood either.

Speaking of not quite Hollywood, the movie I'm hyped for above anything Hollywood has to offer any time soon is the AVGN movie.
