tinyE: NO!!!
and I'm a tad offended by the question.
and I don't get offended...ever.

EDIT
I am actually REALLY offended by the question. And like I said, I don't get offended. I own "Faces of Death" on DVD, I watch it all the time, I think it's the feel good hit of all time, I get a kick out of watching poor innocent people suffer nasty horrible gruesome deaths, and that doesn't offend me.

BUT THIS OFFENDS ME!!!!!!
What is it about the question that you find offensive?
yes
No.

I'm sorry. I'm half being silly, and my comment was nothing aimed at you, and I wholheartedly apologize if that came accross in my post. It's just that I've always been fascinated by the brains and guts it has taken (and continues to take) to explore the reaches of space. I could never imagine having what it takes to do what those people do, and when I see someone (not you) insinuate that it might somehow all be a fraud, I get kind of pissy.

Again, I am really sorry if I came accross as a baby there. It's a legitimate question you pose and I had no call to give you crap for it. :)
no.
No. NO. I'm not a fan of urban legends/conspiracy theories. Not entering...

I'm not in (I've played it already), but I will point out that Myth Busters did an episode on this:

No worries at all, tinyE.

In a way, I know people can have strong beliefs about both sides of a question like this. That's why I asked for 'yes'/'no' responses and why eligibility for the game isn't dependent on one option or the other. I don't want folks feeling they have to defend their position. As per the post title, I'm just trying to satisfy my own curiosity about something which is really of no consequence (basically the split of answrs amongst fellow GOG members as compared to a study of a larger poluation which I came across today).

Happy new year to you and yours. :-)

The world has incredible space capabilities. GPS, telecommunications, the international space station. We went time the moon. Also, I don't remember the Soviets or anyone disputing the fact.

I'm in!
So far I haven't seen any compelling evidence that the moon exists, so I remain skeptical.
No.
