I was wondering if Hotline Miami came with the option of putting it on steam?

Thanks
No, it doesn't. You get a DRM-free version here.

Nope. Gog version is DRM free and standalone. If you want a steam code for cheap, wait for possibly the next humble bundle.
maybe if you contact the devs they would be willing to give you a steam code, maybe. not really worth the hassle
Thanks,

I knew it was a DRM free version but I was wondering if it came with a steam code as well.
Just to be clear, Not a single game on GoG gives you a steam key,

You have the option to add it to steams launcher thingy using the add non steam game but thats it.

Generally if you want both a steam code and a drm free download, you ought to check the dev's site to see if they offer it through humble store. Those generally have both.

Indeed. I think the only thing the Steam version has that the GOG version does not is the (extremely glitchy) Steam cheevos. The glitchiness is why they had to put a Steamworks option in when you start the game.
