Yesterday I tried to purchase sth from gog and I received an error in payment process. I reentered all necessary information (this time double-checking it) and again I could not conclude transaction. It appears that there were some problems on my Bank side and now it looks that all is fine – but I’ve got only 1 trial left. What will happen if gog will not be able to process transaction for the third time and when this ‘failed transaction counter’ resets itself.

If your bank stopped the transaction initially, you should phone them and make sure they don't continue to do so, because if they've flagged it as a purchase you might not make (basically them thinking it might be fraud) it'll end up stopping all payments made (anywhere) until you resolve it. So give 'em a call, explain everything, ask if they've blocked the payment etc. If they have, you can get them to stop blocking it and basically add GoG.com to the "okay list" when it comes to using your card online.

That's not that. I used this VISA to purchase on gog many times before and never had any problems. Yesterday after 2nd try I tried to see how much cash I have on my card and I could not get that information. Instead I got sms from bank with info that service is temporarily down - so it was some technical issue. At this moment I can see how much is on my card - but I can't say if they process transactions normally. That is why I hesitate to give a 3rd try and ask when this 3-trials-counter resets? Can I reset it manually by clearing cart and create another order? Don't know..

I'd clear the cart, and give it 24 hours.

I'd contact your bank. I've had my bank flag GOG in the past on the basis of it not matching my normal transactions. Part of that was that it's an international transaction which shouldn't apply to you.

But, sites like this which deal in low price goods are excellent for CC scammers looking to quickly check the validity of CC info they've bought.
