Planescape Torment doesn't seem to be working on my computer. There is a problem where the dialog loops nonstop, and I can not find a solution anywhere. How do I get a refund?

You can't I'm afraid. At least not as far as I know.
Unfortunately, you don't. One of the downsides to buying games without DRM is that they can't just revoke the install. Fortunately, it only seems to effect a small number of games, but it's still annoying.
You might wanna try contacting Support as they are the only ones who can answer you the question about any possible refunds.

By the way, what problem exactly are you having? Is that dialog an installation one, or an in-game one?
GOG doesn't do refunds, all sales are final. Since their games are DRM free, this is understandable.

Anyway, the community is very helpful and I'm pretty sure people can help you to make the game run properly. Have you applied the patches listed here?

Have you modded the game in any way? I vaguely recall that there was a problem with a looping dialogue in one of the more popular mods. Anyway, GOG cannot issue refunds (as has already been explained - you could just keep the game anyway and they wouldn't have any means of detecting or preventing that). And if it's an in-game dialogue that's looping (i.e. a single bug in an otherwise functioning game), then I'm afraid the question wouldn't make sense to me. If it's an installation dialogue that loops, look in the game's forum or tell us the specifics, and we may be able to help. :)
Yup, downloaded all the recommended mods. I also posted my problem in the official GOG Planescape forum and no one was able to provide help. I guess I'll have to play it unmodified.

Theres your problem!
What's your PC specs? Do you use X-Fi or any Creative soundcard? Try disable EAX if you can.

Odd then, because I thought mods were supposed to fix the game.

Anyway, I loaded it up again for the fifth time and the problem is gone, for now. I do hope it doesn't come back, but I guess there isn't anything I can do if it does.

There's a big difference between patches and mods.

Completely uninstall the game and delete the mods and see if you still have the problem. GOG doesn't support mods and ultimately if you use them you're on your own.

If that works, which it should, then try and look into which mod in particular is causing the problem, chances are that it's a known problem.
