Puh, I mean, I really like well done Tower Defense games, but if even the people who like it say it's only fun in MP, I think I'm gonna pass.

Thanks guys.

Stooner: The keys for games/DLC's are separated?
avatar
Fictionvision: Separate key per game. DLCs are in the keys with each game.
Thank you!... ;p
avatar
Fictionvision: You did if you bought it in Indie Royale, but not if you buy direct from Desura.
You should be able to get a Steam key if you bought the game, as mentioned . Look on your [url=https://secure.desura.com/cart/cdkeys]keys page - there might be a "request key" link there for Dungeon Defenders. If not then try contacting Trendy and they'll probably help.

Unfortunately you'll still end up with a version that'll need to go through Steam.

nijuu: Btw why do they always use the same charities? Why not switch them around like save the whales or pandas or something?
Participating developers get to vote on the charities. EFF and Child's Play are simply the most popular amongst devs, it seems. They do other charities from time to time.
Augh! Finally, Paypal let me checkout this damn thing....
but unfortunately, I couldn't beat the average.... :(

htown1980: Anyone else still waiting for the Mac version of Vessel? It's not like I am hanging out for the game, just wondering if it will ever come.
Yup. I played a bunch in the Windows version and decided I'm going to wait until the Mac one comes out before I continue. They released the Linux one just last week or something and said the Mac one is going to be pretty quick to follow since the code is very similar.
I just realised I got LoG on Steam. Now to see if Workshop got some decent levels which do not depend on split-second timing.
LoG has a linux version now? HB's keep suckering me into rebuying games because of that.

I'm going to resist this time.

I'm pretty sure if you bought it directly from the devs, you get the Linux version for free when available. I can no longer check, as I already own the bundle.

The humble store is the best place for indies, if available. As you get everything you want. DRM free, Mac, Linux, Stean and, most importantly, biggest dev cut.

I bought it here on release day. I prefer not buying from devs. Its too easy to get confused about what has been purchased. I know from GOG I can just click my profile and find most everything I own in one place. I know thats not everyone's philosophy.

Good news! Thanks for the update.

kodeen: Pity that HIB doesn't have the leverage to force this anymore, what with them selling their souls to THQ and everything.
Please. This bundle was planned before the THQ hit, I'll be convinced if all the Humble Bundles in the next two years are DRM-free and cross platform.
Has anyone else tried the Mac version of Shank 2? It run unplayably slow for me, even when I lower my resolution to the screen's minimum. I have an early 2009 iMac (2.66GHz C2D and an Nvidia 9400 256MB; according to the system reqirements that should be enough, the original Shank runs great)
I'll sneak this in here. TDHK0-6FE8P-G4RXH - Binding of Isaac+ Wrath of the Lamb DLC. I don't really want the game, plus have the base on on my steam list from a previous bundle. So for the guy(or gal) who nabs this and doesn't have it/wants it, have fun.

SimonG: Because this does cost them money? And what is the percentage of DD gamers not using Steam 1%? Maybe less. That game is an online multiplayer game. There is absolutely no purpose in a DRM free version. Unless you want to play the shitty SP. Which is nothing anybody should

I really dislike this attitude shown here. Only because they don't cater to the sensibilities of a selected few, which are only held back by their own petty grievances with Steam they are bad? Should they spend additional, disproportional to the gamers affected, money and resources to cater to those?

Unless indie devs are currently swimming in money and can't find anymore hookers and blow they really shouldn't waste resources that way.

Some people really need to get some respect for the developers.
Wow. You realise that you can play the multiplayer without Steam right? Or at least you could if the fucking devs would keep the DRM-free version up to date.

Please, stop making excuses for them. They decided to sell the game DRM-free and not support it. This isn't about DLC, it's about the fact that it makes the DRM-free version incompatible with the Steam version. With the same version numbers, it's possible to for people to play multiplayer across the DRM-free and Steam versions.

Again, they did a shitty thing, don't make excuses for it. No one forced them to sell it DRM-free.

Id hazard to guess indies who want to offer multiplayer games (or have a multiplayer option), take the easy way (or lazy cheapass way) out and use Steams instead of exploring other options.Have zero idea how DD's multi works drm free
