Does anyone still remember/care about this company? Their beginner's adventure games are the main reason that I got into PC gaming to begin with. I know this is mostly a pipe dream, since GOG doesn't really do kid's games, but it would be great to see these games re-released on GOG with all the bells and whistles that come with it.

Well... they do sell Manhole. Granted, that might be due to Cyan not agreeing to sell Myst here unless they also accepted Manhole, but still.

Yeah, I interviewed there for a job once (right after GT Interactive bought them). The same guys doing Freddie Fish and other kids games worked on Cavedog stuff as well. Small fact for ya. We have some Cavedog right here on GOG:)
I learned English playing Humongous titles. Don't think anything can beat that.
Aren't these games still available in stores? I could've sworn I've seen them around.

The most recent release I know of is a few of them getting ported to the Wii, but those were quickly stopped doe to an illegal use of ScummVM. There was also a completely original Freddi Fish release for the DS, and Freddi Fish 1 and Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo recently got iOS ports.

I think I've seen a box of Putt Putt, Spyfox, or something else recently in a store. It was a PC version and I swear it's been in the last 2 years or so.

Yeah, Humongous as an entity hasn't vanished. They still sell their stuff (and I think they're cool with the ScummVM team - regardless of the Wii situation, which neither of them had a hand in).

Anyway, they're now owned by Atari, so who knows? Maybe they'll show up here one day.

The founders left back in 2001-2002 or so, not sure how it's run now or what they're "cool" with. I think they just didn't like it under GT Interactive. Their old offices were in Bothell, WA, wonder if they're still there or if it's just a name on Atari's list of "stuff we own".

I meant that they don't have anything against the ScummVM team. Hence, "cool". And Wikipedia says the offices are still there, but they oversee external development now.
I learned stuff from the Pajama Sam games. :P
Most of the old Humongous games can be purchased through the Kids Software Outlet, http://www.kidssoftwareoutlet.com/default.asp.
