I am in for Wargame: European Escalation, thanks.

What is great about GOG is that they not only sell you the classics, but they make sure they work on modern systems too.
I'll try for option #3. Thanks.

The things that are great about GOG to me include:

Mac games!
Classic games
Good regular prices and great sale prices
Frequent sales
Scheduled release days to look forward to
Community forums
Communication by GOG staff with customers
The games are all DRM-free
I like my Shelf with all the box art for my games
I like the extras included with many games, especially soundtracks and strategy guides

I am probably forgetting some things but those are all big ones to me personally. I'm very, very appreciative of GOG's support for Mac especially and that they upgraded many of my owned games to Mac versions at no added cost.

Oh, and I like the mod guides a lot too. I found them very helpful recently when I was setting up Planescape Torment, Icewind Dale and Icewind Dale II with bug fixes, added content, higher resolution and widescreen display support. It was very handy to have this info in one convenient place with links to all the needed files and advice on installation order, etc. So great support for classic games there.

I have picked up some indies and newer stuff also but most of my collection from GOG is classics I've been very happy to find here.

Count me in for Alpha Centauri.
Thank you!
Please count me in for #3.

As to why GOG.com is so great, it is of course due to the GOGs on offer.

The GOG community comes a close second. Apart from the occasional bitching about rep, downreppers, leechers, giveaway clutter, it is one of the better forums around.
GoG is awesome because of the people. The games are what bring us together, but I have never seen an online community as giving and kind as here on GoG. The guys who run this place are also among the "people" and I love their DRM-Free mindset. I recently got a steam account for the SidM Bundle and I really don't like it.

I'm in for one of the 5 codes as I already have Shelter. It is an interesting game and one I think is worth playing. The game I am interested in is Trine 2. I already have Trine and Alpha Centauri, two wonderful games.
I'm in for #3, as I already own PID, and have no interest in Shelter. Thank you as always, Lou!! Should I win, I would like guacamelee.

I really like GOG cause the forum community and it's comradeship. Beyond that, I also really like the fact that they have older games, as I have been a "retro gamer" for the majority of my life, especially due to a limited budget. I was hoping, then got extremely excited the day that Quest for Glory 1-5 came out. I instantly told my wife (then girlfriend) that I was buying it, as I lost my copy and have been unable to get it for years. :)

Thanks again, Lou!

I just bought all of the games I want from the Valentine's Promo... except one, Omerta ($7.99). So I'd like to be in for that one if it's not too much! (I already have Shelter and not interested in PID).

GOG is great because they have all the best games (primarily old games for me), many Mac-friendly games, frequent sales, and of course DRM free!

Thank you Lou :)!

I'm also in for #3. Five (5) GOG Codes from the Valentines 90% off Sale

GOG is great for several reasons. These are the 3 most important, in my opinion:
First of all, the games on GOG are truly DRM-free (NO always-online, activations, limited downloads, etc.).
Second, the old classic games. It offers "long-lost" games. I mean, there are games that I thought I would never see and play again.
Third, GOG not only offers classic games, but it also provides the necessary "adjusting" for these games to run on modern systems. There are many people (like me) who don't know how to do that.

Thank you for another great giveaway! +1
Thanks again Lou for another opportunity, please do count me in with a chance as well i.e. for Pid and Shelter as well as #3 Wargame: European Escalation. Well GOG is great because of the great DRM-Free games and the awesome community like many other folks have said. There is no other place like this on the interwebs. :)

EDIT: Clarified which games I am in for, thanks again Lou.

Not in, but thanks for the great giveaway, Lou! +1
I guess I'm going to follow the crowd and go in for #3 as well. I love gog for the cheap drm old school games that I love. I was turned on to this by my brother in law and an forever in his debt for it. Plus the sales and free games are amazing.
Please count me in for #3 (with my choice being Guacamelee! Gold Edition) and, if I am not selected for that, #2 (but I already have PID, so I would only redeem Shelter.) Thank you for another week, and another great giveaway Lou!

GOG is great for so many reasons:
DRM-Free
Compatability Updates
Awesome Bonus Content
Great Community
Wonderful Support
Fair Pricing
Customer Love
Thank you, Lou, I'm not entering, but +1 for your continued generosity. GOG is great for the DRM-free classics, I'm a big RPG fan and I joined for games like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights. This community is fantastic as well, the members here are very generous with their time and money.
Free games, DRM-free, above average sales, awesome customer support, and of course probably the most compelling part about is their game compatibility.

EDIT: In for UT2004

Hardrada: I am in for Wargame: European Escalation, thanks.

Nice Choice - That was my Valentines Pick for myself ;-)
