I would like this game because I like post-apocalyptic settings and I want to see if they did it "right" with this game.
Not in, but thanks and +1 for your generosity, KneeTheCap!

Also, a little promotion in the Giveaways' Directory:
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/how_does_one_make_a_gift_aka_gifting_on_gog_for_dummies/post583
Well I'll gladly play this game and i promise to give my personal opinion of it on this very thread if i win. +1
I'll give this one a couple more hours, then I'll random.org the winner.
If memory serves me correctly, the first trailer with the bottle of water and the protagonist ending up on top of a large window was well done. It got my attention with the setting and promise of a tense game play.

However, reviews scared me off of the game. When on limited funds, it's harder to justify taking a chance on a game. I still think it would be right up my alley, though.

Thanks for the giveaway!
I'm in, thanks. I was going to buy it during the sale on Steam but had problems during check out. I've heard the criticism, but from the gameplay videos I've seen I think its a game I'd enjoy playing.

One month ago I saw the launch trailer for I am Alive (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlqoAeIbJrk) and the first thing I had in my head after that was: Interesting. I became more and more interested in this game, I always wanted to buy it but I got stuck in college taxes. I even played it for 2 hours last week at a friend and loved it. I really like how it combines the elements of survival and action. The fact that you can climb stuff is one of the big good features of this game and maybe the feature I like mostly. Somehow it reminds me of The Last of Us (another great survival game), but in the end I thing I am Alive is better not only because it is a great game but it is even created by Ubisoft Shanghai, a great studio. That is the reason I want it. Thanks for doing this and happy holidays.

BlackMageJ: I'd like it because I love the Disaster Report series*, and IaA is probably the closest thing that series will ever get to another sequel, given that Irem has removed all trace of them from its official history in response to the Japanese Tsunami a few years ago.

OK, so releasing DR4 right after a real disaster would have been insensitive, but to cancel a completed game completely and deny all knowledge of three great games? Madness!

*(Not to be confused with Disaster: Day of Crisis. Disaster Report 1&2 were PS2 games, known in Europe as SOS: The Final Escape and Raw Danger).
SO MUCH THIS!!

The Zettai Zetsumi Toshi games (well, SOS: Final Escape / Raw Danger) were two of my favorite games on PS2. In fact, if you used a FAQ for Raw Danger, it was most likely mine, as mine was the only one on GameFAQs last I checked. THAT is how much I loved these games.

The ZZT games, for me as well, are the very reason I have been anticipating playing this one since those very first Trailers. The ones before the game got overhauled as a downloadable title.
I would want to be alive to play I am alive to feel like I'm alive.

Indeed.

Wait, what..
