Also, apparently it's not really full censorship:

Okay, let's clarify something.

The AU version does not censor boobies or the actual "footage" you would see.

What it does is remove your ability to select an affirmative response when you are offered sex as a reward.

What does this mean? It means that when you are in a situation when one of the NPCs offer the chance to "join them in the bedroom in return for doing them X favour", Geralt automatically declines. id est, you do not get to choose yes or no.

Just Google "Witcher 2 un-Australian mod" for now and in future, bear in mind if a game is censored in your region. A good way around it is to trade with a foreigner for an uncensored Steam copy, since Steam gifts aren't region locked and the version you get depends on region in which it's bought rather than the region in which it's redeemed. GOG, unfortunately, is the other way around to my knowledge, so best not to buy region censored games here.

Well no offense was intended and I'll not do the OP or anyone else in this thread the disservice of derailing this thread any further; this is after all a thread about something that has crunched all of us, myself included (see earlier post).

HOWEVER, as for the rest of the forum, it's now a free for all with the periodic table! I was forced to memorize all of those is grade school and soon all of you will suffer the same fate! MUHAHAHAHA!
