have you updated your graphic driver and tried to run it in compatibility mode for an older OS?

Not yet. I will try these things now and then later let you know if the game is fixed or not. :)

I still have this problem after doing everything you said. :(

I had a quick look on the GOG's Sacred forum - you could try what it says in this thread:
http://www.gog.com/forum/sacred_gold/graphics_flickering_when_moving_and_zoomed_out_im_going_to_have_a_siezure
and try opening the Sacred graphics config launcher, enabling 32-bit colour mode and turning off compatibilty
Worth a try!
You tried starting a new game with another character ?
What graphics card are you using?
Apparently the game really hates Intel.

Are you using an AMD card? Maybe it won't work, but you could try testing an older driver (13.1 or 13.4 for example).

I play Sacred Gold on the most recent drivers (13.12), so it's not that.

Ok, I just tried this. The game still gives me graphics problems.

Yes.

I play it on Win 7 64 bit, a Radeon card HD 5450 using 12.104.0.0 drivers.

my suggestion is, remove your drivers, use a driver cleaner, reboot PC and install different (older/newer) drivers.

I'm using Intel integrated graphics so there is no hope.

Ah man that's too bad, it's a pretty decent action RPG.
Maybe you can use the 30 days guarantee to get your money back, or keep it until you can play it on another computer.
Side topic.
Has there ever been a fix for the FPS slowdown when zooming out? The Sacred thread is loaded with complaints about it from people with totally different setups so I was led to believe it was a game problem not specs. I've always had it regardless if I was playing the GOG or my cd version. It's really only a problem when I use a ranged character.

If there is a solution I haven't seen it, there's all the usual stuff about running it in windowed mode and such but those didn't do much for me personally.
I did read something about the former devs making a 'spiritual successor' of sorts called Unbended. Hopefully that will have a better engine than S1 and S2.
