GameRager: UAC should be renamed to User Annoyance Control....because it is just that sometimes. :\
Navagon: You see, this is what I never really understood. What's the point in security software that's more annoying than a virus?
Plus there are some viruses/etc that can circumvent even UAC rendering it useless(like some of the more intrusive security panel/exe blocker variants.).
I leave it on on Win7 admin account because it's not too intrusive(it comes up usually only when I add/remove/etc from program files and other such folder or run certain crappily coded/permission leveled games.), but in Vista the UAC is so obtrusive it makes me want to rip my hair out. Heck with all the apps I use to secure my pc the worst I usually get are those annoying homepage changing viruses or stuff of a similar threat level, and those are rare. Why add more security if I don't need it or have stuff that protects my PC enough to make adding it superfluous?
