It did, but it survived (by being bought up by another company) and came out of administration. Administration isn't necessarily followed by liquidation, though it often is.

Woolworths stores were sold off to various companies (mostly wilkinsons) and there was a new company that set up an internet store with the same name.

HMV are in trouble along with Jessops etc (you have probably heard all about it too). Entertainment retailers are struggling because of online/digital sales......... not that i blame GOG :O
