The main character I think it kinda look like Ash from Pokemon, red cap, blue clothes, and is set inside a pyramid, its a platform game, I'm not sure but he may have been able to shoot lasers from his cap or something.
The game was for the pc (most likely a dos game), graphics were like 8 bit, kinda like duke nukem 1
