Keeping in mind that with the Steamworks removal, multi player is also stripped out of said games. Still a nice option, but not something I see going beyond creating purely single player versions of some games for other sales platforms.

That's all most people want though really, multiplayer is DRM protected by it's very nature really. If Steam had a singleplayer only offline install then I would never, ever complain about Steam DRM and Steamworks.
