Over 9K! I wonder if anyone pays with that option. :D
I was gonna buy it but the PayPal transaction has failed 5 times already even though they said over Twitter that it should have been solved by now.

Edit: Ok, they fixed an error that was happening with PayPal if your name had special characters.

ChickenHero: Music is too expensive anyway imo.
What?
I purchased this for $10 for VVVVVV alone. The other 15 album's I'm getting are just very nice icing on my audio cake.

(I already purchased The Binding of Isaac soundtrack. Also worth $10 alone.)
They fixed an error with PayPal purchases and I was able to buy it. If I'm understanding correctly you can only download each album up to 3 times so be sure to backup everything.

Came back to reconsider it after someone told me album names weren't the game names, glad I saw your post. Website says "100% DRM-free" - download limits? :|

There are download limits, but you're getting regular MP3s, not DRMed crap like what's sold on iTunes and such.

Also they tweeted there'll be FLAC versions available too, so I hope I get ten bucks before the night is over. :(

For me it's twenty downloads for each album. Which (for me) practically means unlimited. The only thing I'm dearly missing is an "download all" button.

A download limit is a DRM regardless, so the bundle is a lie. anyway to reset the download limit?

It says the downloads are DRM free, so it means the mp3s, which don't have any shit build into them. That is fine for me and not a lie.

And I guess they will reset the downloads without much of a hassle. Having a (huge, 20!) amount of downloads if, imo, a good compromise between user friendlyness and preventing from links to the download page.

Maybe the amount of downloads is linked to the price you paid? I payed $1 and 3 downloads seems fair. Besides, I'll probably only listen each album once and forget about them.
purchased for 10$ and thank you for sharing!
I checked again, I have 8 downloads for each bundle.
Also, you can now buy again and merge your orders to increase your contribution.

Wait iTunes still has DRM? I thought music in general was DRM free.

A download limit isn't DRM. If it is then anything bought at a store is full of DRM because the store wont give you another one for free if something happens to yours.

And the meanest DRM are shopping hours. ;)

It's not DRM because it doesn't affect the files themselves, just the link where you can get them. Once you've downloaded them, you should be able to copy the files from disc to disc without limitations.
