And his games make me laugh, so I took the rare chance to get a DRM-free copy of one. Actually I think without the Kickstarter project, Double Fine wouldn't even know that there's a market for DRM-free PC games beyond the Steam customers. Apart from Psychonauts the Kickstarter adventure is currently the only DRM-free DF title out there, so why should one not honor that as a step in the right direction? Should it turn out that updates to the DRM-free version will be neglected in the future, there'd still be enough opportunities to raise hell, but if you didn't support it in the first place, why should they listen to you complaining?
