SirPrimalform: Well that's bullshit, it means I won't be able to play it either. Unless it's just a glitch?

Foxhack: I hope so. I REALLY hope so.
Just installed it from Desura and it has keyboard controls for me. What did the title screen say for you? For me it said to press space to begin.

EDIT: Hmm, just a thought... did you install it from Steam and are you running Steam in Big Picture mode? Just trying to work out if maybe the game gets its idea of whether or not to use a controller from Steam itself.

Another EDIT: Actually it seems it's negligent programming. If there's a controller plugged in when the game is started, it'll be in controller mode whether or not it supports that controller. I'm betting it only works properly with 360 controllers, it only half worked with my USB SNES pad (<3). The buttons worked and the d-pad didn't, probably because it was expecting me to use a non-existent analogue stick or something.

OK, just a question, how do people find out about Indie Royale Bundles as soon as they go live? I've signed up for Indie Royale to tell me when their bundles go live, but they usually send out their emails several hours after they start.

That's more or less by design, otherwise the servers explode. The only ways to find out fairly close to launch is to pay attention on Facebook and Twitter.

Or GOG, honestly, as someone usually makes a forum post within minutes.

grviper: Home is... quite good, actually. Of course, I completely mixed up the story by being very inconsistent in actions.
I want Home but I'm strapped, out of curiosity is it DRM free on Steam, or does it require Steam for more than just a download?
Awesome bundle. Insta-buy.
Once again, I have Indie Royale's must-have title (S&M S3). Well at least I got none of the others, so it's probably still a good buy.

Now off you see about this MacGuffin's curse!
Awesome bundle. A pity S&M S3 is Steam-only, but I'll almost certainly pick it up DRM-free on disc at some point anyway.

As it turns out, the Sam and Max Season 3 bundle gets added to your Desura account too, but that only gives you a Steam key *facepalm*.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with Telltale right now. I mean I wouldn't have expected S&M 3 to appear in a cheap bundle, least of all this soon, so I'm not really surprised they only offer a dependent version and not the DRM-free one. But what I don't get is why now that they offer some games DRM-free here they're still distributing the SecuRom versions on their own website. I know their direct customers can get free DRM-free version of S&M by mail order, but that's still about $20 shipping costs for Europeans. Why can't they just give out GOG keys for their original customers? :(
It's the first time I succumbed to temptation so quickly since I decided to stop buying games. Sam & Max 1 & 2 were the most money I spent on Steam ever on a single purchase, and getting 3 for $5 was something I couldn't resist. MacGuffin's Curse was also something I wanted, but I actually only noticed it after I bought the bundle for Sam & Max.

Cavalieroscuro: I've done a Home giveaway, check the steamgift topic to win it!
Indie Royale is against giving away separate games from a bundle. To quote the FAQ: "Indie Royale bundles are strictly for personal use only. Sharing Steam keys because you already own a game in the bundle is not allowed. The same applies for Desura keys. If your friend wants a bundle you should gift them or they can purchase it themselves. "
Instantly bought the bundle when I saw it has Sam & Max Season 3.

Then I remembered I have all three seasons on Steam already.

Then I remembered I have the Season 3 Collector's Edition retail copy as well.

POINT AT ME. POINT AT ME AND LAUGH.
