Bundle 2 looks absolutely lovely by the way. Hegemony Gold & Strategic war in Europe are two games that I've been interested in for a whole now. Bundle 3 looks nice (for Bridge it & Eri's Action). Don't know about the other ones though. Achron looks interesting, but did that game not get quite bad reviews? Zafehouse also looks like it could be interesting.

That's the current excuse anyhow. A contract that they failed to mention - to anyone signing up to it - was for a limited time only, while instead bandying around words such as "permanent", "always", and so forth. Then claiming that the misunderstanding was on IGNs side despite also using the word "permanent" on their side with no clarifying text.

That coupled with the ongoing price hikes before sales to offer misleading* discount, just isn't going down well anymore.

* Take Gods and Kings for example, used to be priced as $29.99 on GamersGate, in this sale, that price has shot up to $49.95. The resulting "80%" discount is now $10.20, more than the 75% discount offered on Steam. Which is $7.49 in the US (from the base price $29.99) and $9.99 in Japan (from the base price $39.99).

GamersGate keep saying that these price hikes are "mistakes" but given recent actions with the handling of the IGN discount, I no longer believe that is the case. If they really were mistakes, you would have expected them to have fixed them long before now -- these "mistakes" have been happening for a good year or so now.

So yeah, I know I'm not bothering with these Indiefort bundles now. I no longer feel like giving GamersGate my money. This one (now ex-) loyal customer that they've pissed off one time too many.

Maybe sales are so low because the best game in the bundle has been on sale at 2 euro or so the whole week before the bundle. Anyway, thats why I am not buying it again.

It got very mixed reviews. The time travel concept was generally applauded, but the execution was a bit of a mixed bag. When it works, it apparently works extremely well, but then when it fails it fails extraordinary, leading to some balancing issues and that when something starts to go wrong you can just as well give up.

The concept is sound, though, and it would be really interesting if someone could expand on it

And in all the existent, the Space Suite bundle has been released. This is the weakest one of them, in my opinion.

You got me curious with that comment. Would you mind me asking why do you think so?

Zombies has just been in two bundles, and I did not like it very much. There are much better shooters out there

Caster is just very bland. very bland... it gets samey after level 2 and then it stops. it is part 1 of a series with no more episodes,,,,

I am not a big fan of strategy war games, so the other two do no interest me... do not know much about them.

Thanks for the explanation. By the way there was a problem with the Caster's Steam keys, that is now fixed, if anyone haven't received their keys when they bought the Countdown Bundle now can find them on their account page.

Also GamersGate started to add the improvements we requested on the bundle's page starting with the list of bonuses, which should have been listed from day one ^^;

I didn't know we were even supposed to get Steam keys, and I also can't see them anywhere on my account page.

EDIT: Also supposedly the first bunch of extras should have unlocked but I have no option to download them. In the IndieFort 2 bonus things never appeared on my account either, I had to request they manually be added. How can they be so inept?

Still no sign of the unlocked bonuses...

What are the unlocks for? The current bundle? Any bundle? Only if you've bought all bundles?

most unfair/useless unlockable - Caster Mac Version.... not quite fair towards mac users - should they buy the bundle and hope a game they can play gets unlocked, when the windows version is part of the bundle?

This might be a mistake in the list. Caster Mac already got added to my account, so it can't be one of the unlocks (which won't be unlocked before Dec 27th). Perhaps the bonus is actually "Caster OST"?
