I bought both Descents, both Freespaces, Kingpin and Shogo today. I'd already purchased Earthworm Jim 1 & 2 and 3D earlier in the sale.

I will buy the rest of my wishlist (Giants, Messiah, both MDKs and maybe Sacrifice & Evolva) in a few days.

Is there going to be another sale after this one? I don't really have much money at the moment and I was thinking of spending some in the steam sale, so I am trying to figure out how much I can spend and where.

sorry if this is a dumb question but I couldn't find the answer after searching.

The staff mentioned something with which they plan to extract more money from the users, but that's all we know.

I doubt anything of particular interest is going to happen on Monday; TheEnigmaticT stated they were giving our wallets a break, and I suppose it means there will be a short time without a promo.

What led me to a conclusion that I will toss some more cash on games from Interplay and add Freespace 1 & MDK 2 to 6 games I purchased last Saturday.

dgdgagdae: As a Wing Commander fan (but not Privateer), I had never really been interested in the Freespace games. They always looked like good games, but they're not Wing Commander. I always told myself I'd pick them up if they went on sale, but I wasn't particularly excited about them.

Wow, these are REALLY good space combat games! I hadn't expected them to be this good. I bought a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro before picking up the games, and it works great with them.
Freespace 1 is the game Wing Commander Prophecy SHOULD have been, and Freespace 2 completely wipes the floor with the Wing Commander and X Wing franchises. Don't forget the SCP mod!

I picked up Conquest of the New World, Freespace 2, and Sacrifice. Stonekeep looks interesting,but I think I'll pass on it for now.
