Diablo III requires Battle.net to play, there's no offline mode, even for single player :)

Blizzard are stubborn dicks. They don't seem to care, either. I'd like them but I highly doubt they'll ever come here, or anywhere for that matter.

Yeah, they are going to release a full trilogy next week. 1 and 2 in HD. With loads of extras. For free.

Why would they do that? Those games still sell very well and for a full price.
