Khadgar42: True, but in some countries screaming for a refund actually helps a lot solving your problems.
Indeed, the Deutsche Bahn has actually already given me a few refunds, I even got a refund (in form of a coupon for a free game) from a Polish publisher when it turned out that their release of Fallout 3 is pretty much the only one without GFWL support (and thus without compatibility with the DLC - at least until they released it in retail themselves which happened much later), despite including the English language version. But even if it may work sometimes, I'd only be willing to demand a refund if a) the problems aren't caused by me or another party unrelated to the distributor/publisher/manufacturer and b) there was no obvious warnings that the problem may occur or there was no disclaimer for the case it occurs.
Khadgar42: I'm paying money for a service/item, if that doesn't work I ask the seller for a refund or repair. I have been raised that way.
Well, I've been raised as a DOS user which means that having to go through some trouble before a game runs was perfectly natural and even if I'd end up unable to play a game I'd think that it's because something's wrong on my side (even if it was obvious that the developers were largely responsible for which game run out of the box and which are hard to get running). I guess that's the big ideological difference between people who grew up with DOS or say SNES games (or simply became PC gamers much later). :p
