HereForTheBeer: No, it isn't. It's on your shelf.

Check your PMs ; )
Oh that is so great! I love this site and its denizens!
Thanks, HereForTheBeer!

Apparently HereForTheBeer is also HereForTheRPG's :)

Kudos!
I would love for a successor to Arcanum to be developed since it is one of my all-time favorite games. Too bad I never finished my copy since it was lost years ago in a move. In my opinion, everything about the game was amazing: great story, setting, and character creation. My dream to play as a half-ogre aristocrat finally came to fruition. :)

I completely forgot to say +1 for the game.

JRPG = steampunk (mostly)

I think a space-fi steampunk game could be pretty cool. Not sure how to explain away the science, tho. Of course, since when has that ever been a problem in the game industry that creates its magic from imagination?

This is WAYYYY off and it's a movie, but the fighters in the Wing Commander movie always gave me a steampunk vibe. They look like hulking masses of iron and bolts jammed together, equipped with the obligatory steam engine. I always expected to see one of them leaking oil.
