I started it and...I'm loving it.
Yeas, it's not a King's Quest game, but it's a good and interesting title in much ways.
I just reached the Dimension of Death :)

I would recommend giving the Zelda games a spin, as they have a major focus on physical puzzles, and much better combat than King's Quest VIII.
