I am beginning to get worried. The old Neverhood makers have been trying to fund a game (they do not have legal rights to the original brand or sth), which looks very Neverhoodish. But the funding has been very very slow as of late.
And I wonder - those of you, who have any experience with Kickstarter, can you tell me if there is any chance with this pace? I've heard it gets often faster at the end, but there is still much to be funded.

Ah, and the most important thing, the game's called ARMIKROG. Here's the amount of money already pledged, so that you can tell. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1949537745/armikrog

What do you think?

PS. Is there any chance of getting old Neverhood on GOG or the new one, if it is made? My old copy of N. does not work on my current OS :(

Well, kicktraq says it should come really close to it's funding goal, and people usually pledge just a bit more to get ti over the bump.

it needs some injection towards the end. As it is now, it is trending towards 820K, so will fall a bit short. A last effort have happened before, so time will tell.

So it bases its projections on everyday's average?

Edit: Indeed that would be a shame if it didn't get funded. It's not like we are to get a similar game from the big shots. And it is one of those rare non-pixelated indies ;)

On the discussion page for Armikrog Kickstarter, somebody posted instructions on how to run The Neverhood on WinVista & Win7. There's probably some more compatibility-fixing stuff out there, so search around, there might be something that'll allow you to play it again.

As for Armikrog itself, all we can do is to make more people aware of it and hope that they have some spare money to support it. Post on forums, on Facebook & the like, search for the Neverhood fans who might be interested. If more people come, it'll definitely make it.
They need more media coverage.

Also, $900k is a lot when it comes to adventure games kickstarters

Thank you, I will check it out :)

@SLP2000 I thought the very same thing - they may have set the tier too high :/
