Randomly stumbled upon this. Someone wrote a letter to Tommy Yune at Presto Studios, and he had this to say:

We're thankful for the past coverage you provided for us for the The Journeyman Project series. However, recent versions of Mac OS X and Windows had at one point broken backwards compatibility with nearly the entire classic game series.
Anyway, we wanted to give you advance notice that we've had very motivated programmers quietly porting the remake of the first game in the series, The Journeyman Project: Pegasus Prime, to run in 64-bit on modern Intel Macs, with Windows to follow. It's not just a port of the hard-to-find 1997 CD-ROM release, but rather a substantial update of the unreleased DVD-ROM version.
Sorry if this is redundant or was already known. I checked the wiki page for Pegasus Prime and it says the game runs in ScummVM via extraction of game files from the original CDs. But if they're doing a full update to allow the game to run on modern systems, that's pretty cool.Anyway, we wanted to give you advance notice that we've had very motivated programmers quietly porting the remake of the first game in the series, The Journeyman Project: Pegasus Prime, to run in 64-bit on modern Intel Macs, with Windows to follow.
