It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

...and I can't find where to DL the downloader program. GGAAAHHHHH WTF

This is all I wanted to do tonight... :'(

What issue are you having with your browser, and have you tried a different one?

The downloader is not working yet with the new site. You'll need to use a 3rd party one that works with a browser link. I think someone mentioned GetRight (it's paid with a trial). You could try FlashGet (has a FF extenstion I think). Sorry your night is boned, good luck.

Using Firefox. When I click the "Download Game" button, it loads, and doesn't bring up any prompt to save the file. All game DLs do this. When I click "Download Manual" or whatever else, everything works just fine, brings up a the save file prompt. Haven't made changes to settings, and have had no issues DLing in the past.

Tried IE only to find that I have IE6, need IE8, and don't want to DL any Microsoft crap.
Very weird, Sean. I use FF as well (3.6.10) and have no issues DLing with it on either of my rigs. In fact, just tested it and it's working fine. Did you double check your settings in Tools->Options->General just to see if there's something there that's screwy?
Checked that, nothing.

I have re-installed Firefox, to no avail. I'm going to shit my pants. Why is this happening...

I haven't DLed anything since GoG went out of beta... any relation?
Should be no issue. I DLed before and after Beta, so that shouldn't have an effect. I also have Opera installed on my PC, and it works well. Maybe give that a shot if you're willing to install another browser.

*edit* Have you checked your firewall settings? Maybe something changed there? Or something to do with a FF add-on you may have? Other than that, my next thought would be some kind of virus/malware, but that seems an odd thing for virus/mw to affect.

I'll send that I have Firefox and everything is downloading perfectly fine. I've just downloaded all the Tex Murphy games without any problems at all.

Use Free Download Manager when downloading—makes the process smoother.
could try using chrome
I tried to DL the downloader Vagabond recommended and it wouldn't DL either. So I did a system restore to July. Downloads work just fine! ACK thanks for your help all.
Download managers and the built-in FireFox downloader don't work for me, any large file eventually times out with an HTTP 403 error (Forbidden).

EDIT: Downloading one file at a time worked. Patience, patience. Using DownThemAll FireFox add-on.
