Kind of your standard pop n' stop shooter, but done with a lot of style and smooth controls this time. FOV is damn close, but it works for the mood. I turned off fullscreen effects and it looks better to my eye... try it yourself.
Steam only I believe.
I played it on the PS3 a few days ago.
Its really good, but the MP got repetitive really fast and the full game only has 5 maps
If it has a long SP I will probably get it.
Not bad. But all the flashiness couldn't mask the fact that it was a fairly run of the mill third person shooter. Still, it was well put together, enjoyable and nothing about it bugged me. So I might get it at some point. But when it's a fair bit cheaper.
Games like this I can just look at the title/promotional art and pretty much conclude: mindless FPS with mediocre game play. So am I actually right?

You didn't take a very good look then as it's third person. :P
Like I said I was just going off of the promotional art and no actual screen shots!

That's the only way to judge and look down on a game! Bravo!

Yeah.
If you like urban shooters it's very good... if you don't, one wonders why you would bother thinking about it.

Thank you for upholding the perception that GOG users like to make informed purchasing decisions.
FYI it's a Steamworks game, after they tried GfWL for the first game. Since GfWL seems to be going down the pan, and Impulse still hasn't released Reactor, it leaves Steamworks. Que "Steam is PURE EEEEEEEEVIL!".

Despite me not liking DRM, at least this game has co-op and competitive multiplayer, which makes Steamworks a benefit in a lot of ways. It's purely singleplayer games like Fallout New Vegas and Mafia 2 that baffle me as to why they use Steamworks, though DLC is likely the answer.
All in all Steamworks doesn't bother me because I can just crack it if I ever need to. On principle though I disagree with the games as a service thing Steam promotes.
It's interesting to say the least. The gameplay is fine, I probably wouldn't buy it at full price. I am curious as to what the hell is going on, which may me make purchase it for cheap.

Hey man, anytime.
Does it still have coop campaign gameplay? I find that with coop I enjoy these kinds of games much more.

Yeah, the full game does. Offline too. Which should mean LAN support, right?
