I assume I'm going to be ninja'd here, but this story is taking to much time to appear in gog forums. Chris Avellone has suggested that they at Obsidian could use some Kickstarter to fund a new project. What project? Well, he talked about a new Planescape game. Since the internet exploded in extasis (and by that I mean rockpapershotgun.com) and many questions were rised, they have decided to ask the community itself before the possibility of a community funded materializes. So, were Obsidian to start a Kickstarter project, what should it be for? Apparently, the success of the question has rendered Obsidian's site useless for now, but be warned though, Obsidian is asking all of us what game would we like from them!?
My suggestion: A new Planescape (but not Torment related) in 3D, preferably first person a la Elder Scrolls and last Fallout games and party based. Yes, I like 3D over isometric, any problem with that? But make it continuous worlds, not that Bioware bullshit of disconnected areas. if anything, STALKER like, since it would be a game aobut different planes anyway.
