Yes. The people behind this are some of the best kinds of people on the planet. The tools are very usable, especially if you follow lesson plans (there are free ones available). You can actually see what you're doing as you're doing it and it's broken down. If you say "Move Pig_Object" the tool prompts you for the vector and and animation and will walk you through defining each to the level you want. When you're done you can hit play and actually watch your program run. Hell, you can do that between defining each step.

Alice doesn't get nearly the credit they deserve and anyone who dreams of game development should definitely go through a few lessons. It's a simple set up.
