Life Stealers…..the games the stole your youth and are the reason you were a virgin till you 20tys haha. I like to here what games sole my fellow gog’s life.

For me:

Morrowind: house and house of no stop play. I play this game for 18 straight setting my all time record.

FF7: This game eat my time like it was candy
Warhammer 40k, 3rd edition (started playing it in 1998 (when I was 13), still playing this type of games), Mutant (started playing these types of games in 1994 or 1995, when I was 9, still playing these types of games).

Video games were never my real life 'stealers, or the reason why the "cool girls" never looked at me. Well, I was never the kind of geek who just sat indoors, playing games, as a way of avoiding the rest of the world , I was the kind of geek who was accepted by most, though I was obviously never a "cool kid".
high rated
Tetris. I was telling some one about how many lines I did in a single weekend and some tough guys overhead and thought I was talking about "lines" of illegal substances. They were so impressed they invited me to be part of their gang. I soon realized that should the truth ever come out these guys would see to it that my body was never found. So for years I kept up appearances by talking tough and acting like I didn't care what anyone did or said. I eventually became a leader in the group overseeing illegal operations in Columbia, Brazil and had just begun to penetrate areas in Northern Africa when I found a way out - Witness Protection. As far as my guys know I my plane went down in the Atlantic and it was just a string of bad luck in the next two years that got almost all of them arrested. So not only did Tetris take my life but also my name and my very identity.
Oblivion, WoW, Counter Strike, Warcraft 3, Starcraft, Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines.
Azure Dreams (PSX)
Civilization 3.

Sims stole my wife's life for awhile... which also meant me without a computer while it was going on. lol
Can't we just agree that life without games would be a bleak and meaningless affair and use the term "life GIVERS" instead ? Embracing the negative stereotypes associated with gaming and using a rhetoric so dismissive of our beloved activity is, I would argue, unwise.
Definitely Morrowind.

It was more of a joke calling them life stealers. I will say I remmeber playing goldeneye with friends for hours
Wizardry series. The amount of time I spent making maps and building my party in each game along with papers containing the spells and riddles. Man great times.
Too many! WarCraft series, StarCraft + Brood Wars, the whole C&C series...
I lost my virginity at 16 but...

Big open world RPGs (singleplayer) tend to steal my life for a week or so after they come out. The Elder Scrolls games, Fallout games, Risen, etc.
Pong.
Elite on my Amstrad

....aaahhh 8bit perfection......
Morrowind, defenetlly. I think I spent more than 500 hours playing it. If only Oblivion and Skyrim were as good as Morrowind.
