At 7:07 to 7:09 it reminded me of SpellForce The Order of Dawn.
Reminds me of many soundtracks, which leads me to my point: this is pretty standard fantasy RPG music. I'll name Ultima VIII Pagan and Gothic (Gothic 3 is probably the most varied in terms of soundtrack).
I think I'm going to go with Gothic II as I think that is the most likely one, although I'm not gonna fire it up again right now to see. But Gothic II was, at the time, the best game I ever played. I got into it so much and enjoyed that game more than any other I had played up until that time, thus the reason for pleasant memories.

It's funny, I couldn't identify the memories with any specific game, but they were pleasant nonetheless. You know??? Just hearing that music touched something deep inside and it felt pleasant even though I couldn't identify what it was.

But I do think it's Gothic II, as some of the other sounds are also reminding of Gothic II. The ambiance in the woods is eerily similary (the same??) and the wolves sound the exact same they did in Gothic II and some of the NPC's exhibit the same type of body movement when speaking that Gothic II did.

There are so many similarities now that I've played longer and seen them that I can't help but wonder if some of the same folks that worked on Gothic II might have also worked on Two Worlds.

Whatever, this game is also making new very pleasant memories. The graphics of this 5 year old game is nothing to sneeze about (although lip syncing is AWFUL) and I find them quite beautiful. Especially when the sun is out and you're in green country. Magnificant.

And the funny thing is I went so long without ever really getting into it for the exact same reason I tried Gothic II about a dozen times before I actually enjoyed it.... and that reason is a gamepad. I simply cannot play WSAD games with the keyboard and mouse. I find myself looking down at the keyboard more than the screen, but once I got a gamepad set up to work in Gothic and now in this one, it is a pure joy to play. It just feels like you're actually there.

ADDED IN EDIT: Oh btw, I only played Gothic I and Gothic II so far, so it can't be Gothic 3 that is responsible for these pleasant memories.

I was thinking that or some parts reminded me a little of the Medival game music off the Playstation 1

If the keyboard is the main thing that bothers you and you would still like to use a mouse, something I have tried is a hybrid mix. I use JoyToKey to map all the most often used keys to the left buttons, d-pad, and left stick on my pad because I'm right-handed and use a mouse in the other hand. The game still thinks you're using a mouse and keyboard. If there are a couple more keys I need, I map them to extra buttons on my G500 mouse, and if there are still more, it's not so hard to drop the pad and push the key on the keyboard because it's likely not used very often.

I can put my feet up on the desk with the pad resting in my lap while using the mouse! It's been working pretty well with the isometric games I usually play. Haven't tried it much with newer FPP real-time games that play like shooters though.
