That's in New Zealand, I bought one in the US a few years back for a lot less. I can't recall how much, but it was definitely well under $50.

Remind me never to import game controllers from New Zealand, even if hobbits do make them by hand.

This wouldn't be so bad if it were not for the fact that some developers are implimenting buttons that cannot be mapped and are exclusive to this controller.

I remember trying to play AC when I first got it without a gamepad. It was really hard to do, and the arrangement of buttons made it nigh impossible to just keep my fingers in the right place, even without worrying about hitting the ones I wanted at the right time.
