Ive never had IPS monitor and I was thinking that maybe someone whose has actually owned one could help me out abit?

Ive got a gift card to Apple store - but i am not actually interested in buying any Apple stuff, but they are selling some nice Eizo's... Actually the only monitor brand they are selling is Eizo.

So what do you think? Is IPS really worth the price difference and are there still big differences with lag, when for example playing fps's?

The models I am looking at are:

Eizo 24" FlexScan EV2416W (TN)

Eizo 24" FlexScan EV2436W (IPS)

Both have resolution of 1920 x 1200.
