Back when I was 13 I got my first PC but a lot of the old software has been lost with time because of disk breaking and stuff.

Now, I wanted to track down one program specifically but I can't seem to find it anywhere. It was a program that let you create banners and print them in DOS. The EXE file was called "banner.exe" I seem to recall and the program itself was mostly graphical I think, with the ability to pick from certain fonts and styles, creating arches that spanned several pieces of paper. I recall balloons and such being part of the choices.

Would anyone have any choices where to find this program? I Googled a bit but the ones I tried are not the program I'm looking for.

Well its possible you found the same thread that i did... But in said topic they said they are known as:
banner85.zip
isigns50.zip
lbanner.zip
pcbanner.zip

Note: I have not tested the few of them i found. I dont know if they are legit or if they are what you are looking for. Just a few suggestions. I was going to look at them but the website that had them have closed down.

Use/download at your own risk.

You may be referring to "Bannermania".

If so, a search for it in Google yields:
