So after getting a new computer I'm going through old games and installing them and patches- but it seems in the last 6 years since I did this a good few old patches that were hosted on Gamershell are now gone or not hosted. As a result I need some tips on some good and safe archive sites where I can get patches for older games

Fileplanet went under didn't it? SHIT, I loved that site for patches and hassle free demos.

Thanks triock, I can use that link too.
Great many thanks for the link :)

You're welcome. :)
DLH.net was more complete than the patchesscrolls but it seems to be down.
Anyway they all link to gamefront.com, but that site has an awful search function.

Is it bad that I read everything you post in the voice of Joan Rivers?

Patch Scrolls surprises me with its continued existence.

Should it be bad?

I don't really know her but I did like the Dot Matrix character in Spaceballs.
Though she does sound like she has a couple of whiskey's and a pack of smokes for breakfast every moring. =P

Hah, nah, I meant Joan Rivers AS Dot. There is nothing wrong with the patron saint of the Virgin Alarm.
Wanted to post the same link . :)
