Hey, I just reformated my drive and lost all the aspect ratio-settings in my nvidia controll panel and I dont recall how to get old games to play in the correct aspect ratio. Anyone who can help me out?

For most computers:

1) Right click on your desktop.

2) Choose Graphics Properties / Options.

3) Go to Display Properties / Options

4) Choose Aspect Ratio

5) Choose "Maintain Aspect Ratio".

If that doesn't work, I can try to find specific instructions with a bit more info :D

Did you mean you want the old games to run with correct aspect ratio, with black bars? (Assuming you're using widescreen monitor).

This might be a stupid question, but have you reinstalled the graphics drivers you were using before the reformat?

Thanks Runehamster.

I managed to follow your instructions but i managed to miss that i wanted the scaling to be done "by the GPU instead of the Screen" setting. <3
