I'll start with Wizard People, Dear Reader.

There was a topic about it before, but it got a very disappointing response. Mostly, everyone said "screw Harry Potter." And yeah, screw Harry Potter. But this is something different entirely, a replacement audio track for the North American release of the first movie (there's a torrent out there with the audio replaced, if that's an issue), which operates as a fantastic comedic vehicle for Brad Neely, whose other work is also great.

I really couldn't begin to explain the many different ways in which it is excellent. There are many different layers of comedy with many different ideas present, and it's a really unique experience, although similar things have certainly been done. He's just a very funny guy, if you're into his type of comedy. I would think there's something in it for everyone though.

It's like RiffTrax then?

RiffTrax seems more like guys panning movies, whereas Wizard People is a story being narrated over the film that is coherent with the visuals onscreen, with many jokes based in the character dialog, setpieces, and descriptions of events. The Wikipedia article ruins more than a few of the jokes, but also gives a fairly good description of it. But I don't know, perhaps there are some Trax like that...

Trax is also joking about the film in various ways, though.

I love the description of the Dudleys in that audio track. "Uncle Saltporker" and "Roast Beefy-Oh-Weefy" had me cracking up.

Even as a self-proclaimed Potter fan, I enjoyed it a whole lot.

If I had wizard powers I would've had the second Book's/Film's events play out very differently. First thing would've been jailing Harry's foster family in a tiny matchbox with hardly any air holes.

Yeah, I think both sides can enjoy it pretty easily. "Roast Beefy-Oh-Weefy" is hilarious, and I also like "Ragtime Roast Beefy" when Dudley is, quite ridiculously, wearing that hat.

EDIT: And McGonagall's muffed ears (can't remember the Wizard People name), Harry's exclamations and bloodlust during the Cribbage match... there is a lot of gold in there.

It's Qudditch...and they're the Dursleys....not the Dudleys. Dudley is only one of them. :p

:)
Music on Newgrounds doesn't get enough credit in my opinion. There are so many talented people on there and there's some absolutely great music on there. The flash portal is a bit of a different story on there but a lot of the music is great.
