Since nobody mentioned it yet: Dark Souls (but only if you have a controller).

The combat is brilliant; if you're wearing heavy armour and a two handed weapon you can almost feels how heavy and draining each swing is.

It's also pretty stunning visually regarding enviroments and backgrounds, it sports some of the best castles/dungeons I've ever seen (especially if you apply the high resolution texture mod).

And except for a few rare oddities, there's no ridiculous dildo swords and armour also looks how it's supposed to.

wpegg: Have a crack at Two Worlds. Opinion is divided on it, if you're looking for something really serious then avoid. However if you want something that's pretty good, doesn't take its dialogue to seriously, and is definitely a bit different, it's worth a try.

TVs_Frank: Combat, however, is depressingly bad from my experience (admittedly, I didn't go deep into it).
As I said, opinion is divided. It's certainly not a game I'd hold up and say "You must play this". However it's not one I regret playing, and it's not IMO a bad game. I can't really go into detail on combat, as I played as a mage (which was very hard at first).

St0n3d: Hi All.

I'm looking for a new medieval/fantasy rpg to play. I have just finished both The Witcher 1 & 2 and now I'm bored...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Check This Thread for a few suggestions as well. The OP of that thread asked about other games like The Witcher, so you may be interested in the replies there.
You could try the Inquisitor, it's ... sort of like The Witcher in some respects, but much less polished

PetrusOctavianus: Darklands. You don't get more medieval than that.
This
There is always Dark Messiah of Might and Magic if you want to go first person.

despite being a brilliant game it is far from beeing a rpg more like a medieval ego shooter with light rpg elements.

i'd recommend gothic, it's a pretty special game, many don't like it but most who do like it actually love it.
Thanks all. helped alot. :D

Elmofongo: You recommend those over Morrowind and Daggerfall O_O

Elenarie: Any day.
Elder Scrolls games in order of awesomeness: Morrowind, Skyrim, Daggerfall, Oblivion.
Although one could place Daggerfall last as it's difficult to get a copy that will work on Windows 7. That's more Microsoft's fault than Daggerfall's but one should take it into consideration.

Yea, definitely Microsoft's fault. Especially considering the fact that an OS released in 2009 can't run a more than ten years old software.

10 freaking years!

Huh? Am I missing something? It's a freeware DOS game, and there's even an installer that has a preconfigured DOSBOX thing.
Drakensang, Spellforce, Two Worlds, Stronghold.
Ascension to the throne seems decent. It's kind of tough to start, as the main character is a bit weak, and you have to pick the right battles at the right time. It's a strategy rpg, and i like the way its done.
