Probably not. They like their Uplay.

I saw not one, but two exclamation marks in the title. I just had to see what was inside and I was not disappointed :P

Has an originally Uplay game ever made it to GOG? I know Ubisoft has games here, but they are all pre-Uplay, right?

You can apparently change the resolution to 16:10 modes by manually editing the ini file in the game directory (I haven't tried it). Apparently it works fine, though it makes the dialogue interface look a bit funny or something.

changing the reso makes the UI go crazy and you are not able to click on things

Right, I was just reciting what I had heard on the MMX boards.... either way though I think there's a chance they might patch in 16:10 support in the future, there's apparently DLC/expansion coming so Ubisoft are still paying them to work on it.

Also, I'd just like to say guys that before you criticize the optimization problems, lack of 16:10 support, bad textures in locations, you could read the credits for this game. It was obviously made on a shoestring budget, just a few programmers basically did the whole thing, and most of the graphics/art was either re-used assets from HoMM6, or outsourced to Ubisoft's branch in China. It's amazing that these guys, who obviously love Might & Magic, even managed to put out a fun game that retains the spirit and core of the old games.

All of them Uplay-less. Even Assassin's Creed II, a four-years-old game has yet to be released on GOG.

I'm not criticizing the graphics, the textures or anything else just the res, come on it's 2014...this is a problem they have since long long ago (reading comments on steam when it was early alpha maybe cant remember right now) I know it's a budget game but again if you are going to support lots of res do it right or just leave it in in just one reso 1280x960/1024x768 etc like most of the indies games do (schalon, spiderweb games etc)
EDIT: Maybe I am being a little too harsh on them but you buy a game and then you see this kind of things ...makes you mad
