I've never seen that one before. Around here, The Arcade ruled, along with Competition Pro and Wico Command Control, which came in three distinct varieties, Bat, Handgrip and Famous Red Ball.

Ziller: Surprised I missed MOM first time around - it's excellent! Never heard of it before. Mentalepsy's right about the emergence of in game tutorials though - felt kind of lost without it. Just a different mindset, one I'd completely forgotten about.

Master of Magic is excellent, but yeah, if you want to play it, you don't have much choice but to either read the manual or just start pushing buttons. When I was a kid I read the 400+ page strategy guide from cover to cover, but I don't know if I'd have the patience to learn a complex strategy game completely on my own nowadays.
