TVs_Frank: It is a standalone, but it's just like a Warband mod.

And the original is just Warband with worse animations and no multiplayer and other stuff.
So not counting user-made content, would Fire and Sword have just as many features as Warband plus some new stuff added?

In theory but the change to a different setting, new mechanics, and weapon choices (guns for one) might radically change how the game actually plays. It's a different team, so there could be issues on the gameplay mechanics.

Warband was a direct improvement over the base game. Fire & Ice is more of a re-imagination of the game.
