I am another one who learned about this site due to the "shutdown" joke. I remember seeing people on slashdot so upset about it yet hearing them so relieved that it was a prank and even though they were angry kept coming back. I thought a site that has that kind of loyalty in customers has to be doing something right, so I checked it out.

I had been looking for ages for a copy of Planescape so when I saw it on here I bought it straight away. My first ever digital purchase, and thanks to GOG it was the first of many :)

Wow that does really make me feel old, 913 days for me. I remember the first time signing up to GoG, buying my PC PowerPlay magazine from my local shop and looking on the front cover to see the magical words 'Sign up to GoG Beta and receive one of three free games' ahhhhh Lionheart such a good game. Anyway congrats on supporting GoG for so long
