yes, another Internet problem has hit me.
after a blackout yesterday afternoon,my computer(laptop BTW) con't find my Wi-Fi signal while other devices can find the signal.

Tell it to look under the fridge . I always find stuff there.
Try disabling your adapter and re-enabling it. That solves the problem for me when my laptop's wi-fi randomly decides to stop connecting to anything.
Was the first thing that I did, didn't work

Sure you didn't accidentally disable it? Most modern laptops have an external switch for that nowadays.

Yeah..try checking for a manual switch or button on your laptop (check owners manual if necessary). this happened to me a couple years ago..turns out I had hit the button at the top of my laptop by accident at some point, and didn't even realize it had one....
My wifi is on

So you can see other Wifi sources but not your own? Or none at all?
Restarting the WiFi router and the computer didn't help?

Possible options:
Delete the wireless network profile from the computer and see if it makes a difference.
Reinstall the computers wireless card drivers.
Check WiFi routers settings (frequency, channels etc)
I can see other sources exept my own

Perhaps the router decided to use a channel that your computer cannot detect?

Use a device which can connect, and check the router's settings to see if you can change the channel.
thank you.I was able to change my router's channel and now I can access my interwebz again
