Delixe: That's the thing I find most aggrivating about fanboys is that they feel they have to bash a competing product just so their own game gets the attention they feel it deserves. Call me old fashioned but I used to own multiple consoles and enjoyed Sonic and Mario, Link and Shining Force it's all about the games for me not the smegging brands.
Why can't we all want Dragon Age 2, The Witcher 2 and Skyrim to all be brilliant? The market is certainly big enough to support as many AAA titles as possible. Call me greedy but cant we have all? Do we have to pick a favourite?
Personally, I'm not that excited about the Witcher 2 as there is no chance of me running it on my PC, nor of getting an upgrade before it comes out. I still want it to be good, I want it to succeed, and I think it will because (even though this is a fairly self evident point) as the first one showed there is a market for a it, just as there is for DA 2 and Skyrim.
EDIT: I do also find it strange, both with DA2 and Skyrim, as well as reaching back to Origins, ME, Oblivion etc, that people seem to take such a narrow view on what constitutes an RPG, given how maleable and encompassing a genre it is by its nature.
EDIT 2: On the other hand, perhaps that is best left for another time (what constitutes an RPG etc)
