Is the Steam one not censored for the UK?

If you are talking about the allow cross region gifting or trading flag, then note that does not appear to affect copies sold in the UK or US. Only those in regions where the "This game can only be played in ..." message is displayed on the Steam store page.

I got a copy of LOS2 successfully gifted from the UK despite that flag being set.

So it is still possible to get the non-edited version and activate it here, excellent. Thanks for the heads-up.

It certainly should be. Unless the US and UK copies can only be played in those regions now. But do you really see Valve allowing publishers to dictate that games sold in the US can only be played in the US?

And worst case, if gifting over Steam doesn't work, then import a retail copy and activate that key. You may need a VPN to activate, but as long as the key is from a country where play is not locked to that region only, it'll be usable anywhere. As long as the game isn't set to pre-release limbo status that is.

PC version is not censored in Europe. Only console versions are.

Well... just bought a key from Amazon and used a VPN to activate it... here's hoping 3rd time's the charm >_>

Best is to buy it and then download a cracked uncensored version. At least for Germany. -.-

What a wonderful world where is easier download and play a cracked game than the legit...
