GameRager: The PSU is the power supply. It's the big brickish thing that all the wirse come from inside the PC which power the various bits and bobs. If you check the sticker on it it should tell you what it's rated at watt-wise. And yes the rectangleish thing is the plug/6 pin(names for havin', well, 6 pins in it.).

Chances are if you had to plug your old card in with a 6-pin connector before then you should have enough power....it doesn't hurt to check though.
Well if I am looking at the right thing, top right corner with the power cord coming out of it from the back, it says "Warranty void if-" cut off and "Antec" under that.
Wish I could find my receipt for it. Might have to take it out to make sure.
And don't worry, planned on marking this as solved by you. =P

I'm not usually solve greedy but the points help provide such a nice little buffer to fall back on for when I get trolled. :)

Also what else besides Antec does it say? Does it say like Antec model # ???. If there is a model number tell me it and i'll look it up.

There might be more info on the other sides, but to get at them you'd need to sadly unscrew the PSU from the case(This can be done while the wiring is still in place but not while the PC is booted up without risk of shorting something.).

Any words or info etched into the casing itself besides what's on the sticker?

Don't have to do that. See previous posts' edit. =P

Anyway, think I am going to go with that Sapphire 6850. Thank you so much. =D

Also if you have it order the cheapo 3 day(or so) shipping if you have it. In most cases it's like 5 bucks extra and you get it faster.

Apparently there is some free 30-day trial of something that gives free two-day shipping on Newegg. Was thinking of doing that. =P

It's prolly for the first items or anything ordered in the first 30 days. If it is truly 2 day then get it. :)

The Antec EA-500 is a well-known, good quality power supply. (Actually, there are two different EA-500's; if the model number is EA-500D, it's made by Delta, but an EA-500 (no D) is made by Seasonic.) I've got one in my parts box, so I can just read you the specs.

It has two 6-pin PCI-E connectors (they're labeled "PCI-E"), and it can put out 408 watts continuous (34 amps) at +12 volts. Since the graphics cards are driven off the +12 volt supply, that's the most important number right there.

It's enough power supply for any single-GPU setup, except for a few massively power-hungry cards that have 8-pin power connectors.
