graniteoctopus: I played a racing game at a friends house almost ten years ago, and I'm trying to find out what it was called, any help is appreciated. I'll list everything I know.

1. it was about street racing, not professional courses.
2. It was on the original xbox, but as i recall you could also get it on ps2. Either way that era.
3. you had special abilities, the only one i can recall was a slo mo bullet time effect.
4. the game had a plot told in first person pre-rendered cutscenes, and i think it had a silent protagonist
5. all i can recall of one of the early cutscenes is you're in your car talking to someone, when a posse of street racers appear. The guy you talk to seems scared of them, and the leader of the posse tells him "I dont recall asking for your help".

I know that's not much, but any help would be appreciated.

QC: It sounds almost like Need for Speed. There's a bunch of them on PS2, but I couldn't tell you what version.
