Under the tab "New and coming games" I only ever see new games. I never see games that are soon to be released on Gog. Am I missing something? I would love to actually be able to see the games Gog is going to be offering in the future.

When they announce upcoming games, usually with a pre-order, then they do show up there. However, this is rare, and most games have "ninja releases."

You mean for this week?
Yep, Never Ever shows up there. Most times it's a mystery.

"Next week's classic release teaches us that sometimes a soul just cannot find rest."

Prevents competition from getting a jump say having a sale on the coming soon (its been known to happen) game just before its released on GOG.

prevents me from buying a game here, as I would already bought it somewhere else.... happened at least 3 times so far

I do not see how it looses the competitive edge of for example Steam and GG that the customer know a game they are waiting for is being released there soon, as they are doing... and is where I bought those games just to have it magically appear here.

Best example Pid - it was on the coming soon on GG for a week, there was no word here at all. It was released there as expected, I bought it. A few hours later it suddenly popped up on the front page here.... and I would have bought it here since the dollar to pound conversion was beneficial. there is no loss of competitive edge here at all by making the user guess a game may or may not appear, as opposed to other sites where the user know for sure it will be. I just call it extreme silliness.
If it's Omikron I just want the soundtrack. :D
