I also wanted to suggest Ultima 7 because with the expansion pack with it, you can get a sword that is essentially Stormbringer from the Michael Moorcock fantasy novels Elric of Melniboné. Plus the game is an utter blast and a half of awesome. :)

Welcome to the community. If you like RPGs (especially D&D) and have a ton of time on your hands, Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 are must haves. Be prepared for two very long games.

After seeing everything go back up to full price for the first time I can now understand what made the Summer Sale so great. It looks like it'll be fun to check out the various deals during the routine weeks and grab some full price stuff when my budget and new backlog allow.

Welcome, the best games I got here are the one you came here for, FTL, and Eador Genesis, the pinnacle of Fantasy 4x, so if you like Heroes of Might and Magic kind of games, check it out.
Defenders Quest is also very cool, Strategy-RPG, bit like FTL.

BlueJayOnToast: A Friend of mine wanted me to play Faster than Light and after trying to win a copy on steam gifts I gave up he then found me this site and sent it to me and for such a low price I could care less about it being on steam!
